This website is operated by Fat Unicorn Delicatessen. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before ordering.
2. Age Verification — Alcohol
The sale of alcohol is restricted to persons aged 18 and over. By placing an order that includes alcoholic products, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. We reserve the right to refuse delivery of alcohol if the recipient cannot provide valid proof of age upon request. It is an offence to purchase or attempt to purchase alcohol if you are under the age of 18.
3. Products & Availability
All products are subject to availability. As many of our products are artisan and seasonal, we reserve the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value where a product is unavailable. We will always endeavour to notify you in advance of any substitution.
4. Perishable Goods
Due to the perishable nature of our food and drink products, we are unable to accept returns on items once they have been delivered or collected. This does not affect your statutory rights in the event that goods are faulty or not as described. Please refer to our Refund Policy for further details.
5. Allergen Information
We take allergens seriously. Whilst we make every effort to provide accurate allergen information, our products are prepared in an environment where allergens are present. We cannot guarantee that any product is entirely free from allergens. If you have a severe allergy or dietary requirement, please contact us before placing your order. By placing an order, you accept responsibility for checking allergen information prior to consumption.
6. Outside Catering & Bespoke Orders
Catering orders, bespoke hampers, and Build Your Own Buffet orders are subject to the following conditions:
- A deposit may be required at the time of booking to secure your date. Details will be confirmed at the time of enquiry.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the agreed delivery or event time may forfeit the deposit paid.
- Final guest numbers or order quantities must be confirmed no later than 48 hours before your event. Changes requested after this point cannot be guaranteed.
- Delivery windows for catering orders will be agreed directly with you. Please refer to our Delivery Policy for full details.
7. Orders & Payment
All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to amend prices without prior notice. Payment is required in full at the time of ordering unless a deposit arrangement has been agreed for catering bookings.
8. Delivery
Our delivery terms, including applicable postcodes, charges, and lead times, are set out in full in our Delivery Policy. By placing an order for delivery, you agree to those terms.
9. Cancellations & Refunds
For standard orders, you may cancel before your order has been dispatched or prepared. Once an order is in preparation or has been dispatched, cancellations cannot be accepted for perishable items. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Our full Refund Policy applies.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fat Unicorn Delicatessen shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or services. Our liability is limited to the value of the goods or services purchased.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
