Perello Maize Kernels

Perelló Maize Kernels are a traditional Spanish bar snack made from giant maize kernels, gently fried in small batches and perfectly seasoned with salt. Exceptionally crunchy with a simple, savoury flavour, they are a classic Spanish nibble designed to be enjoyed alongside a long, cold drink.

Made using just maize kernels, sunflower oil and salt, these satisfying snacks offer a wonderfully crisp texture and clean, savoury character. Known as Kikones in Spain, they are a staple of Spanish bars and are equally at home on a tapas table or shared grazing board.

Serve them simply as a crunchy snack alongside olives, cured meats and cheese, or use them to add texture to salads and wraps. They are particularly good enjoyed with a cold beer, glass of wine or other long, refreshing drink.
